He raves about how wonderful it all is and then follows it up with how crazy his hormone laden pregnant wife is driving him. Inconsistent at best, but humerous and loveable all at the same time. I suggested he sing to him during diaper changes - "Old MacDonald" or "Bingo" always worked for me. Well...except one! He's gotten better about this, but especially when she was younger - if he gave my daughter a bath, he'd wash her hair, arms, legs, etc. But he would always call me into the bathroom to wash her (as he called it)...ahem..."undercarriage".
