LAS FOTOS

I just stopped my Kristin's Blog, Our Ordinary Life and saw that she was introducing a new Blog Meme, called LAS FOTOS. Every week we'll post a photo/story about the week. To learn more head over to Kristin's Blog and check it out. In the mean time check out my LAS FOTOS post for Week 1.

To Big Brother Ben,

You amaze me. In the last 4 weeks your world has changed drastically and you've done nothing but lived up to the challenge. You became a big brother, something you've asked for for almost 3 years! And you are THE BEST big brother anyone could ever ask for. You've never shown any signs of jealousy, your patient, caring and always there for your baby brother when he cries. You're the first to grab a diaper when it's Bum Changin' Time, and the first to get his pacifier when he needs it. You always try to include him in what your doing, and already trying to teach him how to play video games. Yesterday I walked into the room and you were reading him your book about ocean animals. I am so proud of you, and I know that your brother will always have you to depend on. Thank You Ben.

(writing this actually made me cry)

How cute! I definitely understand how you're feeling, I have four children, and after each one isn't the baby anymore, it's really a big change. :-)

You made me cry too. But crying is good for the soul. I hope this weekly reflection is good for us all.

Awww....what a sweet and good big brother. Isn't it amazing how quickly they get that sibbling sense?

I love that he's able to embrace his new role as "big brother!" He's a handsome guy, he'll have all the ladies soon enough too!!

Oh what a sweet guy! My son was the same way with my daughter, and it really does melt the heart.

Good job Ben!
