What parent out there has never heard of Step 2? I don't think there is one out there! Feel free to correct me. That why I was thrilled when I was given the opportunity to try out the Step 2 Lifestyle Deluxe Kitchen in out family. A brand I know and trust, and toy I know will last!

Well, yesterday I was thrilled when the truck showed up. Mr. Driver man pulled 2 huge boxes out of the back of the truck - seriously HUGE - each box was about 4.5 feet tall!! Can you imagine what our kids would think seeing boxes that big wrapped under the tree?

We put the kitchen together shortly after it arrived, and it took about 30 - 40 minutes. (Probably less is DH would be more patient) I'm so jealous! I wish I had a kitchen like this for me to use, though it would have to be working and just a tad bigger.

There are a lot of things really love about this kitchen. It is such a good toy for the imagination. No screen, no remote or controller, just pure imagination. Though I don't mine screen time for my kids, I do love it when I'm working and listening to Ben keeping himself entertained with real toys. The kitchen itself is wonderful - There is a place for everything which teaches little kids how to put things away. A silverware drawer, Plate rack, baskets for extras, there is even a window above the sink with a light! The only think I wish for this kitchen was a few more food items, though they can be bought on the Step 2 website pretty inexpensively.

This Kitchen is the perfect size for our house, (another great plus for Step 2) they have a kitchen to fit in any size house, from small to large! The Lifestyle Deluxe is about 4 feet long, 4 feet tall and almost 19 inches deep. It weighs about 70lbs which means the kids wont be moving it all over the place but parents can easily push it to the side if needed.

I can't say enough how much I love this kitchen, and how much play time less screen time Ben will encounter now that he has this toy.
