Busy Body Books
(Contest Now Closed)
For the last few weeks I've been trying out a new way of organizing my day to day life. And boy oh boy did it ever need to be organized. You see, though I'm techie and geeky, I still prefer to keep notes written by hand, and a day book or schedule. I need to actually write things down to remember them; be it appointments, Ben's school schedule, or just about anything else...for it to stick in my head, I need to write it down.
So the new method I've been using is from Busy Body Books. I received two of their products to review and I have to let you know that both have changed my life. Making it so much simpler!
The first I want to share with you is the Busy Body Book Wall Calendar! If you have a household of more than 2 to 3 people, this calendar is a must have! Each page is a single week, dated along the left hand side. Then there are 7 Columns - one for each family member or category that you want. For Me, I am only using 5 of the columns so far: Mom, Dad, Ben, Bills & Pays though I have it set up into December, and have added a column for our new baby who is due Dec 17th.

The second product I want to share is the Busy Body Book Personal & Family Organizer. This goes with me everywhere...seriously! I have it all set up for both my personal/family life and my blog schedule. Everything I could possibly need to know is in that book and I will be using this from now on. It has become a staple in my life.
When you open the book the right hand page is your weekly schedule, similar to the wall calendar, dated along the left hand side, but with only 5 separate columns. The left hand page is for all your notes, reminders and anything else. This book leaves nothing to spare...you've got it all. Turn to the back of the book and you've got a contact page, pages for To Do lists (perforated for easy removal) Pages for notes and projects...all you could want. The inside of both covers also have a pocket for you loose papers or coupons...

The Giveaway:
I have one 2010 Busy Body Book Personal & Family Organizer to give away to a lucky A Busy Mommy Reader! To enter, leave me a comment here letting me know how this book would help you in your day to day life.

This book would help me because this year my youngest son started school and my oldest is in extracurriculars three days a week, so along with my own appointments, I have trouble keeping everything straight and I love to write to-do lists

I am about to head back to work full-time, and will have a long commute. Much of the daily doctor's appointments, etc., will fall to my husband, who also works full-time but has a more flexible schedule. I think that this system would be infinitely helpful to us to see, at a glance, what the upcoming issues are, as well as help us keep on track with what is going on at work. Thank you so much for this giveaway! ceevegnashville [at] gmail [dot] com

I'd love this book as I go back to work in a month and my son starts daycare for the first time. I've had enough trouble keeping track of lessons, appointments etc without having my job on top of - I could really use a family organizer!

It would be great to have a nice place to keep everything together. I love making lists, but they tend to be here and there (and sometimes get lost, eeep!).

November 17, 2009 6:11 PM
This would be a great help to me because with 6 people living here, 3 of which are teens, needless to say there are alot of dental appointments, birthdays, anniversaries and work schedules, along with hubbies cardiologist appts that currently are being written on my calendar which is one big mess. Having this family organizer would allow me to put all these appointments and dates to remember in one specific book.
Please enter me. Thanks
