SilkFair Site Review & Giveaway

Have you heard of Silk Fair? Neither had I until just recently when I found myself browsing many shops full of wonderful hand made products. It just amazes me that sites like Silk Fair are out there, giving home crafters and suppliers such a venue to sell their products.

There are two kinds of shops that you can create on Silk Fair. The first being a Market Shop, which is free to create and you only pay a small fee when a product sells; and the newly released Custom Shop which allows you to have your own private completely customizable store, with a web shop, blog, and forum. No other site allows you to brand yourself so easily.

Usually a custom shop is $24.99/month, but right now Silk Fair is offering a promotion where the first 6 months is only $14.99! And with only a 3% charge on sales, it's virtually pennies compared to creating your own site from scratch!

Setting up a custom site is simple, takes no time at all. Perfect for busy people on the go (like all the wonderful WAHM's out there) I just started my own. Right now it's a Market Shop, but it will become a customized shop before the day is out.
