A Rude Awakening...

So this morning I was awakened by my DH yelling "What The &%@#$"? (you can fill in the blank I'm sure) Apparently he thought he had been stung by a bee. He was sleeping with his hands under the pillow, and had kept his hands on the pillow so the attacker would not get away. He wanted me to get something to squish it! Well, it was no bee under his pillow, it was a spider!!! He caught the spider in a CD case, and we're keeping it for a while, just to make sure he has no adverse effects.

Now where we live we don't really have poisonous spiders, and neither of us have ever experienced being bitten by one. He said that it hurt for some time, and really felt like a bee sting.

Now, I have to tell you that I absolutely HATE spiders. They give me the creeps and make my skin crawl. And to think that there was one in our bed, that could have possibly crawled on top of me to get to him...YUCK!!!!

I got up and searched the house looking for webs, of which I found none, and figured the attacker must have came in from the tear in the screen of the window right above my head.

So now, every time I feel a tickle on my skin, I'm afraid that it may be another one after me!!! All I can think is YUCK YUCK YUCK!!!!
