The Crib

So, today we went and picked up our crib from storage. We still have about 4.5 months to go, but we decided to get it anyway, just to make sure we still had all the hardware and it was still in good working order. Ben thought it was great! Having this crib all set up. He thought he would pretend to be a baby all evening!!

So, when bed time rolled around, he wanted nothing to do with his bed. And this is what happens when you set up a crib way too early!

Yes. He is fast asleep, in a crib with no mattress, laying on a blanket for padding. It took him until 12:30 am to fall asleep, so maybe mommy will sleep in tomorrow? Don't worry, I'm going to put him in his bed before I go to sleep tonight. I don't think cribs are built for 40+ pound kids who's feet hit the end of it.

The crib will be taken down tomorrow, so we don't create a habit out of this. I need it for the Baby, not the Big Boy!
