Betty Crocker - Gluten Free Cakes & Cookie Mixes - Closed

Have you ever had to drastically change your diet. I mean take out something that your used to having with almost every meal, every snack and every treat. Well recently a part of our family had to do this when they realized they had a huge sensitivity to Wheat Gluten. When you go from eating just about anything you want (In moderation of course) to having to read every label and give the third degree to anyone who has a baked good for you it is really a difficult change.
Many people now have Gluten sensitivities, and trying to find an easy recipe for making a cake or cookie is IMPOSSIBLE! Many of the recipes include flours made from other grains than wheat, that are very pricey and can be hard to find! That's why I was so excited to try out the new Gluten Free Baking Mixes from Betty Crocker! They now offer a wide variety of Gluten Free Mixes that you can find on your grocery store shelves! No more hunting down scarce ingredients, Betty Crocker has handled all the hard stuff for you!
I was given the opportunity to try out some of the Gluten Free products that Betty Crocker now offers, and I have to say We Love The Chocolate Chip Cookies!!! You would never know by taste that they were Gluten Free, that's just how awesome they are!!

Betty Crocker now has a variety of Gluten Free Mixes available, Including:
- Betty Crocker Gluten Free Yellow Cake Mix
- Betty Crocker Gluten Free Devil“s Food Cake Mix
- Betty Crocker Gluten Free Brownie Mix
- Betty Crocker Gluten Free Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix
There will be two prizes for this giveaway.

Hello. I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease and have been gluten free since 2003. Prior to my diagnosis, I had been increasingly ill for about ten years. I still suffer from severe health issues as a result of the delay in my diagnosis, which requires inpatient hospitalization at times. I was just discharged from my most recent hospitalization just last month. All told, I have been hospitalized over 100 times, with stays ranging from a day to over a month.
Prior to becoming ill, I loved to bake. I was the eldest girl in a family of eight and learned to bake from scratch while growing up. After marrying, however, I relied more on prepared mixes - particularly those from Betty Crocker which I loved - because of the time savings.
Since my illness, I have had little energy and no longer have the strength to bake from scratch. I had literally given up hope of ever again baking as I used to do. I was astonished, however, when I was shopping yesterday in my local Safeway store and saw Betty Crocker's Gluten Free Devil Food Cake Mix in the baking aisle. Although it cost five dollars, I promptly purchased it and spent the rest of the day enjoying a slice of heaven as I made, and then gradually ate, this treasure.
I would very much like to win your giveaway for the Betty Crocker gluten free products because I rely solely on Social Security Disability Income for support and cannot afford to purchase these products on an on-going basis.
I feel so excited and blessed to have lived to see the day that a major food manufacturer makes mainstream gluten free baking products. I sincerely thank those at Betty Crocker and General Mills who are responsible, and encourage them to continue to make more gluten free products.
I also appreciate the opportunity to enter this contest, and thank you for running it. Mary Frances
