Summer Fun!

Today was such an awesome day! Ben and I spend the day having fun, and after yesterday, I kinda owed it to him. Yesterday was spent moving a huge tv, and awful fridge, and our new (new to us) patio set! (Thanks Mom)

When the club where I used to work shut down last week, my boss/step dad offered the huge tv to us. And of course the testosterone in DH could not say no. Let me tell you this...I now have a Movie Theatre in my bedroom. I don't even like having a normal size TV in my bedroom, they keep me awake. But, I have to give in every once in a while, so I let Corey have it. Well, I kinda wish I had kept my mouth shut about the TV, cause damn...the thing is huge! But hubby is happy, should keep him quite for a little while anyway!

So, back to today. Ben and I headed out to water G-Ma's flowers (that's my mom, she thinks grandma sounds to old, so we call her G-ma) as they were away for the weekend. That was our job. Once that was done, we could have lots of fun...and we did!! We went to A&W and picked up a little lunch, took it to the park and had a picnik! Then he spent some time learning how to drive is two-wheeler (with training wheels) I've come to a conclusion...he does not get out enough. The child has very little leg strength, and that we will definitely have to work on throughout the summer. After about an hour of bike riding, we headed home to break out the kiddie pool for the first time this year. OH! That water was cold, and I wore a lot of it. It took Ben almost 2 hours to even sit down in the water!! But, eventually he did, and he had a ton of fun! Completely made they day worth it...to hear him giggling and laughing without a worry. I LOVE IT!!

I still have quite a night ahead of me. Tomorrow I'm having a huge yard sale at the Club. Getting rid of all the stuff that was in there. There are some crazy old items too. Like Pics of Elvis, and JFK. I hope the yard sale is a success! I'll be taking a bunch of my jewelry to sell off. Since I haven't been pushing that a lot online, I figure if I sell off some stock it might put me in the mood to start creating again. I love making jewelry, just sometimes we get off track.

Tonight I need to go price a bunch of things, and hang up signs in the area...heck...I still have to make the signs! A lot to do, but first I need to make supper and hit the grocery store. I hope to find a lot of deals tonight. With me not working, and EI hasn't yet come in..things are getting tight! I'll have to check my coupon stack as well!
