Great Father's Day Gift Idea - XShot! - Bonus Giveaway!!!

Father's Day is coming up fast, and I always have an awful time trying to find a great present for hubby. He loves so many things, and none of which I know anything about. (Mostly tools)

One thing he is, is a gadget lover. He loves anything that makes something else work better. And that I why I was so excited when I was given the chance to check out the XShot.

Photobucket

The XShot is a wonderful little contraption that resembles an antenna or a pointer. It attaches to the base of your camera or video camera using the tripod area and extends to allow you to get your camera in those hard to reach places. All you have to do is attach the camera to the XShot, set the timer and extend! It is also great for those moments in life when you want everyone in the picture. Again, just set the timer and extend! Huddle with your buddies and everyone's in the shot. No one get's left out!

Our family loves the XShot, because I can now finally be in the picture! There are lots of pictures of Ben and Daddy, cause I take them all. Now Daddy just sets it up, and we're all in the shot! Making our family memories complete, with no one missing.

Here is Ben and I on the couch. He's sick today so we snuggled quite a bit. Daddy was at work for this one. There will be lots more X Shot Photo's to come!

I liked the fact I can be in the picture more too and don't have to bother a stranger- please take a pic of me/us/etc- also safer than someone else breaking or running off with camera

Ha, this is the perfect contest for us! My hubby and I were out at the lake and we were going to take a cute photo together. Hubby was trying to hold the camera and snap the photo.

Every single photo turned out bad, he was craning his neck and making all sorts of "struggling" faces in every single shot! Here is proof: (http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f60/Talinan/100_0837.jpg)

What a cool invention, I totally need to get this for him!

I have very few pictures of me and all of my friends. It's usually me and one other (two at most), so we would really love to have this at hand.

I like the fact that you can
"Take pictures from unique angles". I also like that I would be able to be included in many of the family vacation photos that I have been left out of for years because I am always the one taking the pictures.

I've wanted one of these for a while - just haven't broken down and bought one. I love that it can be extended over 3 feet (37 inches) but also closes down small enough to be easily portable. I would love to be in some pictures because I'm always behind the camera.

I have to say, I'm glad it has a nice quick spin knob - no coins or screwdrivers required! I've had to use coin and screwdrivers before - not fun! & you always need the coins when all you have is bills.

The kids come running every time I pull out the camera. Maybe I can trick them and get a shot before they get too close and all I get are closeups of noses.

I didn't think of this until I visited their site, no more asking strangers to take your pictures! I did that recently at the Grove Park Inn in North Carolina and the people I asked sure seemed like they didn't want to, but they did anyway.
