4 years ago....

4 years ago today, I was scared. I was experiencing my very first contractions that you can't pass off as Braxton's Hicks, my back hurt, my legs hurt and I was on the verge of the most important career of my life, Motherhood!

After a very numbing epidural, some help holding my legs, my little bundle of joy emerged and we were finally introduced.

Well, I now have 4 years of experience, and I am shocked at just how fast time really flies! He's gone from an immobile little bundle, to a very smart, active little preschooler.

And tomorrow, May 5, is his birthday once again. Another year and he'll be in school! I'm so glad that I get to spend the next year with him, and not have to go to work. It's my last chance before he enters the "real world" and there are a few last minute lessons that he needs Mommy to teach him.
