What are you doing for Easter?
So, Easter weekend is upon us, and I am so excited. Ben is almost 4 and it's such a great age for holidays like this! Tomorrow (my day off) we plan to spend the morning at my BFF's house, so he can play with her kids. I'm sure he'll have a blast! (and it will hopefully make up at least one of his broken hearts from yesterday) Later in the day, I plan to decorate some easter eggs with him. Now, he doesn't have a lot of experience in the field of egg decoration, but I'm sure with some newsprint and a good smock it will be an event to remember! I'll be sure to take some great pics and videos to share with everyone!
Don't think we're having a big dinner, at least not this weekend. Since tomorrow is my ONLY day off, I think my time would be much better spent playing with Ben than slaving over a hot stove. Maybe I'll switch dinner to next week sometime....maybe.
Sunday is the big Easter Egg Hunt! We have the plastic eggs that I put quarters in, and piles and piles of Chocolate....more than I planned but hey...I'm allowed, I'm MOM! And since I'll probably eat most of it, I don't need to worry about Ben getting TOO MUCH CHOCOLATE! He'll be hunting for hours!! Or at least until he gets bored!

Sounds like your Easter Egg Hunt will be a lot of fun! I enjoyed doing it for my kids when they were younger. Now they are 14 and 18...and I can't help but make them Easter baskets. This year they'll be getting earrings, gift cards and cosmetics mixed in with their candy. We'll go to my mom's later in the day for a huge Easter Egg Hunt. There are 18 grandchildren...the youngest is two. It's so much fun to watch the kids! Have a great Easter!
Sounds like you will be having lots of fun. This will be my first Easter Egg Hunt with Garrett, he is usually camping with my parents for the holiday but this year they are staying home. We are decorating hard boiled eggs tomorrow, making cupcakes because I have been craving them and then I think that Saturday we are going to go to a free Easter Egg Hunt. Sunday we are doing the hunt at home before I head into work. Have a good day off and have a happy Easter!!
