The Questions Of Pregnancy...
Being a parent is a very difficult job, and it starts from the day you decide to start trying to have your first child (or in some cases, the day you find out your pregnant!). All the questions that run through your head are amazing...things you never thought of before. I remember when we were pregnant for our son Ben all the anxieties and worries...will he be healthy, will we find out if we're having a baby boy or a baby girl? Will our pregnancy go smooth, and even how will I know how to be a MOM? Well, I have to say that most of it came naturally.
Some things came very easy for us, Daddy already had a name for his son, Ben obviously, though I did have to push to make his name Benjamin (just in case he wanted a stronger name when he's an adult). If our little guy had been a girl, choosing a name would have been much more difficult. I wanted Olivia and Daddy wanted Emily...
As we now embark on attempting to have a second child, a lot of these questions are popping back up again. Will I remember what it feels like to be pregnant? In what trimester should I feel the baby moving? What vitamins should I be taking to help ensure a healthy pregnancy?
Thankfully the internet provides a wealth of information to help make me feel better about becoming pregnant again, and I am looking forward to it with all my heart. Keep your fingers crossed for our family, Ben desperately wants a brother or sister. And we are finally ready to give him one!

How wonderful that you'll be adding to your family! I found I forgot a lot of the pregnancy stuff too when the second time came around - good thing for my trusty "What to Expect" book!! I can tell you the two big differences I noticed - I showed a lot sooner and felt movement a lot sooner with the second one.
*sigh* Miss it!
Best of luck!
My pregnancies were completely different. But I felt more relaxed and less stressed the 2nd time around. I didn't worry nearly as much. My boys are almost 4 years apart and the only thing I forgot about was the end. You know when you are struggling to get out of bed to pee? My husband had to literally push me some nights because I couldn't get up, or I would roll. It all comes back though. And there is much cuter maternity clothes now then there was even 6 years ago.
Hi,
It's great that you are thinking of the second one. My children are 22 months apart,(Son is 4 years and daughter 2 years+) and I didn't know if I would remember everything. But I did, most of important ones anyways. It was interesting though that because my son was still a baby and very demanding it was difficult for me to follow the pregnancy. The pregnancy kept up with us. Just remember to have proper food and your prenatal vitamins. Everything else will be fine.
Good luck.
I love you blog by the way.
Congrats on making the decision to add to your family. Ben will enjoy having a brother or sister. Try not to worry about things. Just do the same things that you did with your 1st & everything will be great! :)
