Kudos to you....way to get involved.
I don't know how many of you have heard, but it's all over the new's here in Canada. A Montreal Student was able to successfully stop a student in Norfolk, England from attacking his school with a fire bomb!
J.P. Neufeld is a moderator for the site http://www.newgrounds.com. On Tuesday he spotted a post that read:
Today at 11:30 GMT I will attack my school with arson and other forms of violence. Those bastards will pay.Newfeld checked out the timezones, and realized that the attack was less than an hour away. In his quick thinking, the 21 year old student tried to slow the attacker down by talking to him. With the help of other users on the site, he was able to identify the suspect. He quickly called the Norfolk police, and thankfully was taken seriously.
The Norfolk police quickly alerted Attleborough, and teachers detained the 16-year-old in the office until police arrived. He was found to be carrying a knife, matches and a container of flammable liquid in his bag. Police also confiscated the teens computer.
So, my message to J.P. Neufeld...Thank You for getting involved. So many chose to look away and you did not! You got involved, and by doing so may have possible saved the lives of many young people and hopefully the young boy will be able to get the help he so obviously needs!
J.P. Neufeld...You are a hero!
