Out of the mouth of babes...

Yesterday I was spending time with Ben. We were driving around, getting a few errands taken care of and listening to one of Ben's new CD's. Well, I was singing along with with song when Ben said. "Mommy, I don't like it when you sing." Ok, I can deal with that...he has his moments. If I never sang to him again he'd be upset I'm sure. So I stop singing along and we go on with our day.

Then, we're home and he was watching Rugrats in Paris, he walks up to me and says, "Mommy, your not a cool mommy." I though to myself, ok, he's just having an I don't like Mommy day...I can deal with that.

Sooo, the day progresses, we finish up our errands, head over to G-Ma's house, (we're house sitting for the next two weeks) and Ben settles down to play his uncles video games wanting me to play them with him. I set back supper by half an hour to play with him. We're racing along in Mario Kart for Super Nintendo, (yes my bro still has all his systems from when he was a child...He's a HUGE GAMER) Anyway, I had Ben in hysterics, laughing so hard I though for sure he was going to pee himself, when he turns to me, straight faced and says "Mom, that wasn't cool!"

My little guy is going to be a comedian, cause I couldn't keep a straight face after that, and he just feeds on my laughter and need to tell everyone what he's said. To my boy, I love you!! You may not always know just how funny you are, but you've got it kid. OH, and yes...you get it from your Dad.
