It Must Be Love....

My Valentines Day Story is one that happened a few years back. But before I get into the story, first I must let you all know that I am not married, DH and I have been together for 9 years, we're happy and content as we are. We do plan to marry, we're (I'm) just not in any hurry...If it ain't broke, don't fix it. I've never been that girl who dreams of thier wedding from the time they're 4.

DS was about a year old. DH and I had been all gooey and ga ga over him for the last year, spending very little time on our relationship or ourselves...(that hasn't changed much) So, on this particular Valentine's Day, DH had arranged for his parents to watch our wee one so we could grocery shop in peace. (Ok, DH arrange a sitter? never happens, I knew something was up!) So we drop of our little bundle of joy and head off to Sobeys. We spend about an hour, walking up and down the isles, picking out our favorites. We pay our bill and load up the car. On the way home, DH takes a detour. He turnes up the side road leading to our local Sleading Hill, and parks at the top.

He hands me our Digital Camera and tells me to look through the photos. The first one was a pic of a rose, the second said "Jen, I love you" the next words were the shockers!! Each picture had on a single word, Will, You, Marry, Me, ? Now, I had to say Yes! Of course. He had gone to so much work to put it together...

but...

I'm still not getting married any time soon..and he is fully aware of that. Ask me again when I'm Sixty, I may be more apt to do it then. For now, our relationship is strong, and It doesn't need fixing!
