The End/Beginning of a Busy Week

Well folks,

Today is Sunday. Depending on your schedule, its the end of the week, to others its the beginning of the week. As the title suggests, it's been a busy one for me. I've worked (out of the home) every day. And I don't have a day off until Friday next! My mom and dh have from the 20th to the 27th off. Not me though, actually, my only real day off between now and Christmas Eve is Friday. I may have to beg for a day somewhere. I make the schedule, but it's pretty set, we don't alter it around too much unless its really needed.

Sorry I've been a little scarce this week, time escapes me with all the hustle and bustle of Christmas. Shopping and parties, late night gift wrapping sessions. We trimmed out tree late last night. I have some great pics and videos, they need a bit of editing so I'll post them in a couple days. I am currently trying out what seems to be a great online resource for picture lovers! OneTrueMedia. Ben has been going through sookie withdraw. I waited way to long to get rid of his soother. Any new moms out there, get rid of the soother by the time their 2, the longer you wait, the harder it is. We couldn't find a sookie Monday night, and we are really tired of looking for them all the time, so I finally said, your to old now, no more sookies. He was really upset, he's had one since he came home from the hospital, and he's a little more than 3.5 now. He has a security blanket as well, and I promised him I would never take that away from him. ( we used to call him Linus, he doesn't drag it everywhere anymore, just mostly if he's upset or going to bed) The hard part of all this is that it's very difficult for him to fall asleep. For the last week he hasn't been falling asleep until midnight or one, and then sleeping in quite late. He got up at 11am this morning.
Hopefully he'll get past it quickly, he only asks for it once at bedtime, I just tell him "no, sweetie" and he doesn't ask again. He is struggling to fall asleep, as its all new to him. He has to learn how to fall asleep all over again. Sorry sweetie, that's Mommies fault.
