Our Adventure

Ben and I decided to go for an Adventure today. We took a walk through the paths in the wooded area by our house. We were looking for Toadstools, Salamanders, Squirrels, Chipmunks, and Bears and Moose according to Ben. We spent about an hour out playing in the woods. It rained a little but we were well covered by trees. I love Trees. I'm teaching Ben to be a tree hugger, but I think I've told you that already.
So, we found some interesting things. No, we didn't see any Bears, actually, I didn't see any animals at all, but Ben said he saw a Chipmunk. Here are some pics from our "Adventure" Needless to say, we had a ball.

Did you get outside today??

No worries. I hadn't checked yet anyway.:-) Ben had so much fun puddle jumping that day. It looks like we're going to get more rain this weekend from "Hanna".
More Puddle jumping to come!!
I love to let him play and get dirty. That's what kids are supposed to do. I get so many looks from people for him getting so dirty. I just ignore them. If we don't let out kids play. They will never learn. End up in front of a screen their whole lives.
Here's to Getting Dirty!!
Awhhh. That is the best thing everyone has said to me since I've been a mom. You made my day. Thanks so much

Looks like a lot of fun! When Tala was born we made a promise to show her some of the world's biggest trees instead of the biggest buildings. So far so good!
What a little cutie Ben is!
Thanks so much...your girls are very cute too. I think they'll be the "cutie" Generation. :-)
I always tell Ben to be a Tree Hugger not a Tree Hater.
