Busy
My space is a mess!! I have been working or running for too many days straight, I need a day just for housework. My laundry is up to my knees, my bed goes unmade, the floor needs to be cleaned. LOL. Working this much SUCKS. I want to be home more. I think I need some organizational help.
I've just finished blogging on CleanCanada about my Green Pick of the Week, Bohemian Bubbles. A locally made Goats Milk Soap that I have fallen in love with. There is also a chance to win a sample of their goats milk soap and a lip balm. Check it out!
Today was Ben's first trip to the dentist. I have to say I couldn't be prouder. He opened up wide, and didn't fight too much. He did cry the whole time she was cleaning his teeth and through the flouride treatment. But he cried with an open mouth. When he walked out he said "Mommy, I never want to come here again." But, he was alright with not coming back for 6 months. I have to go on Monday. First time in too many years. I'm sure my trip wont go so easily. Wish me luck!!

Way to go Ben on the great trip to the dentist! I'm not a big fan my myself. Both Tala & Malie did great at their first appointment too. Tala was absolutely adorable and helped Malie do as well as she did. Keep up the great work!
Glad to hear that the first trip went great. DH and I just started going to the dentist every 6 months last year and my first 2 trips were awesome then I started getting cavities. Didnt make any sense to me. I went 14 years without a dentist and had no cavities now I go every 6 months and now have 6 cavities?????
That's one thing we have never ever skimped on going to the dentist. Both kids have been going regularly as well since they were little.
I personally would rather go to the dentist than have my eyes checked.......strange or what?

Jamie - I don't like it either. But, it needs to be done. I'm glad your girls were so brave.
Aundrea - Thats what I'm scared of. They haven't hurt me much, but once they start poking and prodding them I'm sure everything will turn up.
Gill - I hate getting my eyes checked. I have issues with my eyes and I don't always need just a regular test. The need to Numb my eyes and dialilate them. I cannot handle Bright Lights. My eyes just shut, I have no control over them. When my Blepheritis is acting up, (which is now) it's worse. I can't even drive.
I'll take the dentist over eye doctor any day.
My 6yo DS had to have his first cavity filled this summer. It was awful - I'm sure the dentist knows what's he's doing & he was recommended by our family Dr who takes his own kids there, BUT I did not like the fact that I was not allowed in the room when he was doing the work. The door was open and I could see a bit of what was going on and hear everything. Boy did I feel like a terrible Mommy not being able to comfort him when he was crying :( At the same time he put a sealant on his bottom back teeth, so hopefully we won't have to have too many cavity fillings in the future.
